[Bug 990313] [NEW] High fan activity when locked because of no user activity

 

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

When the computer is left alone and the system gets locked for access by
passers-by, the screen is black (as expected) but then fan activity is
increasing to a level that I hardly know during regular activities.

After logging in and resuming user activity fan activity drops.
