[Bug 991180] Re: Ubuntu 12.04 Nvidia Compiz Expo Mipmap
This is not a driver bug; it's a regression caused by this change:

Some of the GLX stuff _was_ context-dependent, since the code doesn't
mark FBConfigs as mipmap-aware unless the EXT_framebuffer_object
extension is supported by the GL context. However, uses of
glGenerateMipmapEXT() throughout the runtime code are also adequately
guarded by GL::fbo checks, so it should be safe to remove that
particular check rather than moving the code back. The attached patch
should fix all related issues.
