[Bug 995387] [NEW] In dual monitor conditions, the 'lock screen' can expose portions of users desktop

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

I have a laptop (screen 1) with a vga monitor (screen 2) connected.

start everything up with both screens on
If the desktop monitor is powered off -
Unity changes the display mode so that both screens are supported in an extended virtual desktop.
So I power the monitor (screen 2) back on

Then I close the lid on my laptop, because it is no use to have it open
if I have access to both desktops in a virtual way and the screens have
been effectively mirrored.

Then it goes to the 'lock screen' I guess because I closed the laptop lid. (The setting is set to 'do nothing' when lid is closed)
The lock screen wallpaper doesn't cover the full area.. the physical screen dimensions are different than the virtual screen, but screen 2 is smaller, so the area that extends past the wallpaper is displayed.

** Affects: compiz (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Confirmed
