There is tearing in fullscreen with 800x600. That's definitely 16:9
problem for me.

Yes, that would be great. May I ask you to write some code to render
something not 16:9 and to stretch it to 16:9 in hardware, so act as
you're watching non-16:9 video in mplayer.
