This plug-in works perfectly with Compiz 0.9.7.8-0ubuntu1-vvpreproposed2
and it is very useful to delay the start of other applications also
using OpenGL, like Docky for example, until Compiz finished loading.
First tests show it also can help preventing troubles like this one:
