All - The nautilus case of this bug is being handled in bug 333366.

For other window types, please try to find simple and clear test cases
and add them to the bug description.

  Make sure you follow the exact steps
  
  1. start gnome-terminal
  2. now start nautilus
  
  What happens
  nautilus window does not get focused as the menubar still shows menus of the terminal
  
  What should happen
  nautilus should be focused.

  A new app will open (say Nautilus) and I am in another app (say
  Terminal). Even though Nautilus jumps to front, the menu bar on top is
  still from the Terminal. This is confusing and it caused me more than
  once to turn off the app I was in!
