Message #39201
[Bug 755842] Re: Non-maximized windows which sit on the border of a workspace move when called
Tyler,
I was removing an invalid entry there. This fix for precise is still
queued.
For precise, the fix for this bug is in lp:compiz-plugins-main and will be available in compiz-plugins-main 0.9.7.4:
https://launchpad.net/compiz-plugins-main/+milestone/0.9.7.4
Sorry, but no estimate on when that will be. To add to the confusion, Ubuntu packaging then moves the wall plugin into package "compiz-plugins-main-default" which has a different version again. And Ubuntu frequently pulls fixes like this before they're officially marked as released upstream.
To know when this bug is fixed in precise, you should look at the top of this bug at:
compiz-plugins-main (Ubuntu) > Precise
