[Bug 1063871] Re: Gedit will not snap/semi-maximize with the mouse

Actually, this appears to be a bug in compiz snapping GTK3 programs.
Confirming due to multiple similar reports.

** Changed in: compiz
       Status: Incomplete => Confirmed

** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu)
       Status: Incomplete => Confirmed

** Summary changed:

- Gedit will not snap/semi-maximize with the mouse
+ Gedit, Nautilus will not snap/semi-maximize with the mouse

** Description changed:

- The grid plugin is working with Gedit only using shortcuts. Trying to
- drag the top bar against the edges doesn't work.
+ The grid plugin is working with Gedit and nautilus only using shortcuts.
+ Trying to drag the top bar against the edges doesn't work.

  Can't tell if the problem is Gedit or Compiz. Till now I didn't
  experienced this problem with other programs, it appends only with Gedit
  (this is why I thought it could be a problem with Gedit.. but I can be
  wrong).

  I had the same problem on an installation of Ubuntu 12.10 and on a 12.10
  Live version downloaded today (8 October 2012).
