[Bug 745159] Re: Segfault in compiz when unchecking "Snap windows back to original size" in the Grid options
The problem also is that Compiz 0.9.9 has no idea about snapping of
horizontally semi-maximized windows.
This is fixed in 0.9.10 already:

This is how the move plugin in 0.9.10 CCSM looks:
