[Bug 1242115] Re: Some elements of the desktop are black
XTerm works, so I can do a bit more to track the bug.
It seems to be related to compiz / window management. If I disable/enable window management in CCSM, I see some failure in syslog (document attached).

Some elements of the desktop are black:
* Notifications
* Window borders
* The terminal
* Tooltips in Chrome browser
- I can't tell much more at the moment, it might be related to my graphic
