Yeah exactly, sry!
But it looks like the login screen is already present, but not on the laptop's screen.
It seems like the system uses the external monitors, even if they are not connected. Because if I type something and hit enter (like I would do on the login screen) and afterwards put the laptop into the dock, I can see the "wrong credentials"-warning on the login-screen displayed on the external monitors.

Maybe this helps too:
* Most of the time the laptop is in the dock and I leave the lid always closed in this case. So I'm only using the two external monitors. I installed the above updates in this state.
* During the day before this update I booted the laptop without sitting in the dock with no problems.
* nvidia-settings only displays the two external monitors, the display settings of Ubuntu also shows the laptop's display (but disabled). But as I can remember, this was always the case.
