Thanks for reporting these problems.  It appears you are running an
older version of Compiz on your computer. I recommend you update your
14.04 LTS to pick up all the bug fixes that have been released.

Using the Dash you can start the Software Updater application.  Click on
Settings... > Updates and make sure the "Recommended updates (trusty-
updates)" is checked.  Follow the dialogs and choose the options to
update your system.

The current version of Compiz in trusty-updates is
1:0.9.11.3+14.04.20150122-0ubuntu1 and we believe it may already contain
fixes for the problems you have described.  Please update you version to
the current supported version and retry if you could and report the
results back here so we can see if there is further action required.
