This bug also affects me (already clicked on that), a couple extra info:

* Not running any nvidia drivers nor having an nvidia card:

* once the issue was present, dconf did not included unity as active
plugin:

nessita@miro:~$ dconf read /org/compiz/profiles/unity/plugins/core/active-plugins
['core', 'ccp', 'move', 'regex', 'mousepoll', 'imgpng', 'snap', 'session', 'compiztoolbox', 'commands', 'resize', 'workarounds']

* running a reset on dconf configs fixed it:

dconf reset /org/compiz/profiles/unity/plugins/core/active-plugins
