Public bug reported:

i've upgraded from 14.04 to 16.04.

After the upgrade, when my Thinkpad T520 was in standby and i log-in again, there is no mouse cursor seen but the mouse works (as i could click on icons or right-click menu). 
When i change from one desktop to another by choosing an app on another desktop with "window scale", the mouse-cursor will show up again and everything works normal.
