Message #56153
[Bug 1608758] [NEW] shutdown procedure should check virtualbox
Public bug reported:
After <Alt-F10> a menu appears and after choosing "shut down" a large box appears in the middle of the screen allowing me to "shutdown" or "restart".
When I choose either when VirtualBox is still running the icon in the launch bar wiggles or a panel from VirtualBox appears asking what I want to do, but I will not get the opportunity to do anything, because the shutdown procedure does not wait.
Data might get lost that way.
I suggest that the system issues an appropriate warning after choosing
"shut down" from the menu like "blabla is still running, do you wish to
proceed? <shut down> <wait> <cancel>" *before* going into the shutdown
procedure.
