Message #56188
[Bug 1608886] Re: Window maximize on first click after screen wake-up
I guess the windows resizes to whatever it is maximally, and then the
windows at some point are interpreted as maximized. When the 4k is
turned back on they are reset as maximized on that screen too.
Not sure how this behavior can be avoided, as it would imply remembering
an old state.
Perhaps the windows could retain the maximum size from the previous
screen without being fully maximized on the 4k screen?
** Description changed:
- Given that I have two screens, with ona being a Samsung 4k screen
+ Given that I have two screens
+ And one being a Samsung 4k screen
+ And one being a Samsung SyncMaster 940BF
And a Geforce GTX960 (Nvidia, proprietary driver but don't think it matter)
- And Ubu 15.10
+ And Ubu 15.10 on the host
When I turn off the Samsung 4k screen
- And wait for a minute
- And then turn it back on
+ And wait for a minute while the smaller screen turn on
+ And then turn the 4k back on
And click in a window
Then it should rise to the front
But then the window it is maximized *sometimes*, and usually only on the
first mouse click. This only happen on the 4k screen. And only if the
window isn't changed while in the low-res mode on the secondary screen.
I have no clue whats going on, but I am pretty sure it is not a faulty
mouse.
I have not tried to disable the proprietary driver, as this should not
interfere with the mouse. The mouse is a wireless Logitech M325, that is
unified receiver.
