I'm having an issue very much like this one: repainting of certain
windows just stop. Input, menu's, mouse everything still works fine -
it's just the repainting of the window that stops. Only way to recover
is to close the window and restart the application.

However, I am using 16.04 ...

Does anyone have suggestions on what I can try to investigate this?
Is there another bug report for this somewhere at the moment?
