Title:
support custom names for schema options in optparse

Status in configglue:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Support specifying both short and long option names for the
commandline parser (optparse) if such is desired.

Keeping the current naming scheme can be done as a default to keep
backwards compatible, but there should be a way to override names for
any given options, both in long and short format.
