Hello Amit and Tejus,

I have appreciate your passion for this issue:).
Tejus, Yes  you are right you didn't put a domain, but you have put a default search view for Receivable and Payable type.

Now I have explain the whole thing here.

Receivable and Payable are account's internal type, we have used
Receivable and Payable account for parties account i.e debtor, and
creditor account.

For product's income account and expanse account mainly we have used a
Regular account or either we can use a Liquidity also , only view and
consolidation account we can not used in product's income and  expanse
account. This is accounting terms so we have used it.

Now Amit, Comes up your last question. We have used a same view for many2one filed that's why we can see there Receivable and Payable search button. If we have create a new search view for all many2one record, then it doesn't seems make sense..;-) (I think you have aware of this:-) ).
 
This all are not a bugs, but your questions,  I have request to you, If you have further question then please continue on questions , at there we will discuss futher..;-).

  Product : Account properties right selection

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Hello,

  
  With products,

  Account tab, their is sales and purchase properties,

        When we going to select value, it show lists without domain
  filtered , Filter on payable and receivable

  So when we configure sale account properties then their should  be
  appropriate filtered list to display. That similar effect require for
  purchase too.

  I have fixed it and attached the patch.
