[Bug 900011] Re: access error opening res.partner

 

Hello DR Ferdinand,

This is an access error message, sometimes we can not consider this as a
"Error" because if we didn't give a proper group and trying to access
record then such type of access error message raised.

We have faced this error because we have gives a access of
marketing_campaign_workitem model to ""Marketing/User"
,"Marketing/Manager" and Employee and login user doesn't have one of
then group.

Here I have confirmed this issue because as per the Access rights
guidelines, Partner Manger group have a rights to create a partner, so
this group can have read access of marketing_campaign_workitem  model.

One more thing, If we have login with the "Employee" group then this error never appears.
So If we have set a "Employee" group by default for all new created  user then this type of such issues are never raised please look in to lp:893554.

That's why I have suggested those solution on this bug, but If you wanted to discuss this bug then currently I am setting this as a "Opinion". 
So After discussion , If we have found a more suitable solution for it, then we will again confirmed it.

  IMHO it would also be helpful to see the source of the error

  after giving read access to the user via group or to everyone no error
  raises

  on a slow line one can observe, that notebook pages which are viewable
  only by special groups, are displayed for a while before the tab
  disapears -
