Hello Amit

This could be a big headache with multicompany environment, which also
used to assign domain Newspapers and other multi-company models.

IMHO, the widget selection born of a many2one should contain the value
stored in database and also, domain filter settings

Bug description:
  1) Steps to reproduce the issue you have observed
  Create a invoice.
  Set any period_id.
  Open same period_id and set state to close
  Open same invoice

  2) The result you observed
  period value is empty in gui gtk

   3) The result you expected 
  Same value captured

  4) The platform your are using
  Ubuntu11

   5) The OpenERP version you are using (e.g. 5.0.15, 6.0-dev), if
  possible including the specific revision (e.g. rev. 2824) if you take
  the sources directly from Bazaar
