Hi,
I strongly agree with Dr Ferdinand, the automatic emails must be disabled upon setup and users can enable them from the server actions if need be. Its a great new feature of course and I know the idea is to an out-of-the-box ready to use application but to have such a feature that automatically sends emails to customers without the users knowledge is not good practice. There is no message show on the front end to inform the user. Once again, I think its a great new feature but should be disabled at first.

Bug description:
  BTW - it would be nice to announce this nice new feature - even in a
  test system  for each validated  invoice an emails is sent to the
  customer

  IMHO the edi_document must be linked to 
  * partner
  * invoice

  and must be accesssible to see which documents were sent
