It would be great if someone with an ESC/POS printer try to print and
check if this might work when in offline mode. If it is only generation
of PDF that fails this might not be important(?)

  POS Printed receipts are garbled when in offline mode

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  New

Bug description:
  1) Go to http://trunk_5612.runbot.openerp.com:9459 with Firefox
  2) select the database : trunk_5612_all using the user demo with password demo
  3) select the Point of Sales module
  4) after the Point of Sales module has loaded disconnect the network
  5) select some products to an order
  6) click a payment method such as "Checks Journal - (test) (EUR)"
  7) click "Validate"
  8) click "Print"
  9) choose Print to File, select "PDF" and type a name, such as test.pdf
  10) Open test.pdf

  Result PDF is garbled.

  Notice: the same operation is printing the PDF correctly if not in
  offline mode!
