Hi, I am not sure the best way to produce the error for you other than
showing a video like you have. I do not have the time to investigate

Title:
  [6.0] Peridocal Inventory product search broken

Status in OpenERP Addons (modules):
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Create a new periodical inventory. In the product field, type a
  partial sku and tab to the next field. It will auto-search because
  there is not an exact match. The search results are bogus. It returns
  a list of 100 products that have no relation to the entered data.

  I also noticed that the product reference search is case sensitive, If
  I enter a lowercase reference when the reference is upper case it will
  not find the product and return the bogus 100 matches.

  Checking sales orders, it does not have this problem and the search
  returns correctly.
