The fix proposed by Kirti Savalia(OpenERP) was rejected "because there will be plenty of problems raising from here to there". 
If I get it right, the whole backorder system needs a re-engineering.
So how do we start? Should we plan a workshop during the community days, or does someone have a clear idea that can be implemented now ?

  Partial packing : new move should contain the backorder

Bug description:
  When doing a partial picking, the wizard should:
  - use the original picking as the one actually sent
  - use the copy as the one remaining to be sent (backorder)
  The field "backorder_id" should read "Backorder" instead of "Backorder of".

  This was reported long ago in bug #553112, confirmed by users and experts, and agreed upon by OpenERP SA.
  However bug #553112 was forgotten when v6 was released, so I'm now filing it again.
