Hello Kevin,

We undertand your concern about the taxes while you change the account
on the "Invoice Line" Form. This will not be consider as a bug for the
current stable 6, because when you select the product, onchange method
for the product called and will take all the values related to that
product, as the Unit of measure, Unit Price, Description, Income Account
and the default taxes for the product, here the priority is for the
product taxes.

As you asked in the bug that while change the account details or the
Account, it replaces the taxes, This is due to the onchange method
called for the account, it will take the default taxes for that account,
which is a normal behaviour.

As you know that product is not a required field for the "Invoice line"
this is because sometime you may need to create a invoice which only
need to have the taxes not the product. So in that case you need to
select the "Account" and the default tax applied for the selected
account appears in the taxes column of the "Invoice Line", Here the
priority is for the Account taxes.

OPW team also replied you with the detailed explanation in the issue.

For now I am setting this bug as Invalid.

Please share your views on it or correct me If i am wrong.

  V6.0.3
  In supplier or customer invoicing (from accounting menu) create new and add an invoice line - in the form select a product with tax records - these are correctly populated. Then change the GL account code - the taxes are removed.
