Problem occurs only when I trie to enter journal-items manually in menu
"Accountion/Journal Entries/Journal Items". Maybe you tested in Menu
"Accountion/Customers/Journal Items" where it is working well.

When trying to enter journal-items in menu "Accountion/Journal
Entries/Journal Items" it also makes a difference, if there is a journal
chosen in field "journal" or not and if the field "move" is filled or
not.

  Trunk: manual journal-entry not always possible

Bug description:
  When I trie to add a manual journal-item, I often get the following
  error-message: "ENDODING ERROR, No period found or more than one
  period found for the given date."

  I can not imagen, where the problem comes from. It seems to be a bug.
  I have one opening period (01.01.2012-01.01.2012) and 12 monthly
  periods.
