[Bug 1006814] Re: please update js libraries

Not sure why that's relevant unless you remove the bundled library to
replace them with OS-provided ones.

And please note that jQuery 1.7.2 may or may not be drop-in compatible
with 1.6.4. 1.7.1 most definitely was not. 1.6.4 is *stable*, and unless
there are security issues in 1.6.4 which were fixed in 1.7 we have
little reason to migrate OpenERP Web 6.1 to 1.7

Trunk is already partially migrated to 1.7.2 (it's currently bundling
1.7.2b1, but still has some references to 1.6.4, everything will be
fixed to 1.7.2 or 1.7.3 eventually)

** Changed in: openerp-web
   Importance: Low => Wishlist

Title:
  please update js libraries

Status in OpenERP Web:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
A quick analysis done by Yolanda Robla shows that you are using
inconsistent set of out-of-date and fairly up-to-date javascript
libraries. This is blocking us to package openerp for Debian and
  Ubuntu.

Please not that Debian has jquery 1.7.2 and ubuntu is currently at
1.7.1 and will get 1.7.2 soon.

We do not want to deploy obsolete code.
