@Michael,

I don't believe it does any more.  I would like to follow up with a block schema fix for this, however, creating a schema which handles the fact that both wipe and preserve are optional, and that wipe: superblock and preserve: false: are allowable is rather difficult.

For now, it'll be a runtime error.
