Bug description:
  [SRU]

  TODO!

  [Original]

  On Ubunutu Noble up to date with byobu 6.10-0ubuntu1

  $ locale
  LANG=en_US.UTF-8
  LANGUAGE=
  LC_CTYPE="en_US.UTF-8"
  LC_NUMERIC=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_TIME=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"
  LC_MONETARY=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_MESSAGES="en_US.UTF-8"
  LC_PAPER=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_NAME=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_ADDRESS=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_TELEPHONE=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_MEASUREMENT=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_IDENTIFICATION=fr_FR.UTF-8
  LC_ALL=

  I get this error frequently when the prompt is displayed:

  ~$ hello
  Hello, world!
  bash: 1707301265,061296: value too great for base (error token is "061296")

  Certainly because the decimal separator is a comma and a dot is
  expected.
