[Bug 2111623] Re: [Asus Q540VJ, HDA Intel PCH, recording] No sound at all
Thank you very much for your help, I really appreciate it.
I removed the line "options snd-intel-dspcfg dsp_driver=1" as you said.
and used the command "sudo update-initramfs -u -k all" and "reboot".
The mic worked perfectly, but I noticed that the speakers stopped
working. So I ran "alsamexer" and found out that some volume options
were set to 0 so I leveled it up and the speakers worked, but there is
something weird which is the sound that comes from the browser works
perfectly but the System sounds (e.g., terminal bell, settings UI
sounds) sounds really weird like there is crackling or sounds like
broken speaker. And also, I noticed that when I open the sound settings
window, the system sounds stop working.
Do you know what might cause this, or do you need me to share any info?
And to answer your question, "What caused you to add that line?" it's
ChatGPT. And actually it's my mistake to add A line without knowing what
it will do.
