[Bug 1984157] Re: [Lenovo Legion Y9000X IAH7 (82TF), Realtek ALC287, Speaker, Internal] No sound at all

 

reading how booting into Windows fixes the issue, my initial gut
instinct is that it's a driver issue. Searching around led me:

which seems to point to possible firmware and kernel patches, as well as
further issues over time. Could you try the steps in the first entry and
see if it resolves issues?

I'm also forwarding this on to kernel folks as they'll have a better
idea on the kernel and firmware side.
