[Bug 1979967] Re: Unable to see Cellular network Icon when connected through "Connect" Api
Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu.
Ubuntu 20.04 (focal) reached end-of-standard-support in May 2025.

We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be interested
in discussing it anymore. But if you are then please upgrade to the
latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is still
present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here telling

Bug description:
Setup Details:
RVP: ADLPWWAN633
Kernel Version: 5.15.36-wwan-bkc-5
OS Version: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
Test steps:
1. Bootup the device.
2. Ensure the device is enumerated and Register to LTE Signaling.
3. Move the modem to connected State using "connect" Api
4. Give the routing command
5. Ping to the google network & make sure it is successful.
6. Check the Cellular network Icon
Actual result:- Unable to see the Cellular signal Icon,
Expected result:- When Modem is in connected State, should be able to see the Cellular signal icon. Cellular icon is seen when we use auto pdp script.
