I wouldn't say it "works".
It just flash for a second on boot and then show "/dev/sda2: clean ..." again before login screen appears.
Also it did not show splash on reboot/shutdown at all.

Bug description:
  After updated to questing (25.10 dev branch), there is no plymouth boot screen.
  I try to install previous 24.004.60-2ubuntu7 by manual download deb file and "dpkg -i" and all works fine with it.

  PS. I'm use kubuntu
