Title:
can connect to bluetooth audio device, but it doesn't appear as a
  sound sink

Status in bluez package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
Just did fresh install of ubuntu desktop 16.04. after trying unity,
installed ubuntu-gnome-desktop and rebooted to login with gdm and
  gnome shell.

I have bluetooth audio device that's playback only (no mic) and uses
A2DP. I think you can see its mac address in the logs below if you
want to know the exact device.

This device works fine on fedora 22 on the same hardware (a mac mini),
and with ubuntu gnome 14.04 on a different computer. (I haven't tried
  other configurations.)

I can pair with it and connect to it, but no audio device shows up for
it. It does seem to be inconsistently added as an input device (it has
one button that works as a "pause/plya" media key), although I don't
really use that functionality so i can't say if that's changed.

Attached is journalctl -f output. The most relevant message seems to
be "bluetoothd[2809]: Control: Refusing unexpected connect", which is
why I've filed this bug against `bluetoothd` using `ubuntu-bug 2809`.

I can consistently reproduce this. If there's a way to get more detail
logging, I'd be happy to do it.
