[Bug 2116083] Re: Audio volume is reset to 100% every time external monitor is plugged in

 

Hi. Nothing happens in the log as the bug is reproduced. I've attached the full output regardless. 
I reproduced the bug several times today on Jul 09, though as you can see, the last log entry is from jul 08 15:05:05.

Bug description:
  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Connect an external monitor. I've tried on 3 different monitors, both HDMI and USB-C, all trigger the same bug.

  Expected behaviour:
  1. Audio volume remains at same level as before

  Actual behaviour:
  1. Audio volume is set to 100%

  
  This problem started after upgrading to Ubuntu 25.04, on Ubuntu 24.04 there was no such issue.
