Message #04042
[Bug 2116975] [NEW] window does not reappear after iconify and deiconify
Public bug reported:
Present on Tk8.6 and Tk9.0
Type 'wish'or 'wish9.0' to start the interpreter. The toplevel window
appears. Now type:
wm iconify .
The toplevel disappears, but it takes about two seconds to get the next
% prompt. Now type:
wm deiconify .
This should put the window back but it does not. Again it takes about
two seconds to get the next % prompt.
Note that the problem does not occur if running a different window
manager such as GNOME flashback. TclTk uses Xorg so XWayland might be
responsible?
