Message #04478
[Bug 2117497] Re: Upgrade to 2.11
Hello,
I made a version bumped for this package and uploaded it to the
following PPA:
https://launchpad.net/~antoinelassagne/+archive/ubuntu/wpa-2-11/+packages
It mostly went smoothly (uscan), but here are a few noticable changes:
* I modified the patch `0002-AP-guard-FT-SAE-code-with-CONFIG_IEEE80211R_AP.patch`.
Given the changelog, I enlarged the patch to include `WPA_KEY_MGMT_FT_SAE_EXT_KEY` too. I'd like to have a second eye on this one.
* `0014-wpa_supplicant-Fix-wpa_supplicant-configuration-pars.patch` was
silently succeeding but it should not have (already applied upstream)
* I dropped a few patches that were already applied, including to CVE.
One CVE patches from 2024 needs to be kept.
I ran the autopkgtests locally and they went fine, although the coverage
seem very (very) slim.
If I did anything wrong on this one please don't hesitate to be hard on
me - it's my first one and I'd like to learn the best practices.
