I'm setting the status to 'opinion', there is no current plan to package
this in Ubuntu, but will accept it from Debian.

Bug description:
  There's an upstream bug for this, however it seems like Ubuntu should
  provide a package even if Debian doesn't. Not sure what needs to
  happen to make this work. Seems relatively straightforward?
