  Summary:
  Built-in microphone does not work (no input / recording fails).

  Steps to reproduce:
  1. Login to Ubuntu 25.04 (Plucky).
  2. Open Settings → Sound → Input. Microphone not listed / input meter does not move.
  3. Try recording with: `arecord -d 5 test.wav` (no data recorded / error).

  Expected result:
  Microphone should be listed as input device and record sound.

  Actual result:
  No input device / recording fails. (paste any error text shown)
