[Bug 2091602] Re: gvim rendering glitch after window resize
I'm affected by this. I tried building vim 2:9.1.1385-1 from Debian
experimental. This builds against Noble without modification. It has the
same problem. So it seems likely that either 1) the bug is not in vim
itself, but a library it's using, or mutter or other display component;
or 2) it's not yet fixed in vim 9.1.1385.

Title:
gvim rendering glitch after window resize
Status in vim package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Repro steps:
1. Open gvim on a file (e.g. gvim /usr/share/distro-info/ubuntu.csv)
2. Select some text
3. Shrink the window (via top or bottom edge) enough that some lines 'fall off' the window.
4. Enlarge the window (via top or bottom edge), revealing those hidden lines.
The revealed lines are mostly unreadable due to some rendering glitch.
It's like most of each character's pixels have been eaten away.
See attached screenshot.
