[Bug 2121774] Re: ANGLE causes rendering issues on freedreno

 

As a workaround I was able to open Signal in the terminal with 'signal-
desktop-unofficial --enable-
features=UseOzonePlatform,WaylandWindowDecorations --ozone-
platform=wayland' and that fixed the issue.

I was also able to open Chromium with 'chromium --enable-
features=UseOzonePlatform,WaylandWindowDecorations --ozone-
platform=wayland'.

  We are hitting this on all Qualcomm Snapdragon hardware on Ubuntu,
  anything Chrome or Electron based seems to be affected. A workaround
  would be forcefully changing the GL_VENDOR for known broken
  applications as proposed in the PR linked above.
