Oh, interesting failure. It'll probably be a pain to reproduce, though.

My guess is that this service is what powers the desktop search.

For ease of reproduction, how did you download the video? My naïve
approach of simply `cp`-ing a video file into that directory doesn't
trigger the issue:

  localsearch-3 using a lot of cpu for a long time

Status in tracker-miners package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  All of a sudden, my laptop's fan spun up and stayed like that.
  Checking the process tree, I see these two processes using a lot of
  cpu:

  Just typing journalctl -f fills the screen with these:

  That video file is one I downloaded, kept for a minute or less, and
  then deleted. Maybe that raced with this "tracker" who is now very
  confused why that file isn't there anymore?

  Eventually I killed the parent PID (5373), and this was the end of the
  logs:
