  RH: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2302577
  Upstream: https://lists.infradead.org/pipermail/hostap/2024-August/042893.html

In fedora this was fixed by reverting the offending commit https://git.w1.fi/cgit/hostap/commit/?id=41638606054a09867fe3f9a2b5523aa4678cbfa5, see https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/wpa_supplicant/blob/rawhide/f/wpa_supplicant-Revert-Mark-authorization-completed-on-driver-indica.patch
The same fixes the issue on my Macbook m2 Air. The other patches discussed in the RH bug tracker don't work for me.
