Hi,
Now that this is almost officially one of my task, that Eduardo has
joined us and already started to hack at it, I think that we should be a
bit more active on this topic (at least I will).
A *very* long time ago, I had started a matrix of the sos plugins and of
which ones I thought were required on Ubuntu. I shared the document with
you if you're curious. Don't bother with the "Required on
Desktop/Server" columns, they're no longer relevant.
Now the first topic I want to throw around is :
"Should we package plugins that have absolutely no use on Ubuntu/Debian
?" They're flagged by a black square in the matrix. My only worry is
that this may become an issue when we do the "Main Inclusion Request
(MIR)". Security may not like code that is irrelevant to our distro. Any
thoughts ?
Aside from that, let's start to hack at this one
Kind regards,
...Louis
