[Bug 581647] Re: [upstream] Can't print chart independently of spreadsheet

Tim Moreland, this issue is unreproducible in LibreOffice Calc via the
Terminal:

cd ~/Desktop && wget -c
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/openoffice.org/+bug/581647/+attachment/1462405/+files/3%20Rainfall%202010.xls
-O inf.xls

Click the graph -> Format -> Page... -> Page tab -> change Orientation
radio button to Landscape -> OK -> File -> Print -> General tab -> under
Range and copies click radio button Selected cells -> Properties button
-> change drop down Orientation to Landscape -> OK button and notice the
print preview contains the entire graph on one page. Does this work for
you? If using Lucid or Maverick feel free to perform at the Terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update &&
sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice-calc

  [upstream] Can't print chart independently of spreadsheet

Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete
Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: openoffice.org

  Ubuntu 9.10 updated in 16 May 2010

  Having selected the chart in the spreadsheet, I expected to be able to
  print it. NO. I mucked around for half an hour trying to find how to
  print the chart. I even tried copying and pasting to a word processing
  document. Nope, didn't work either.

  Went to Help to find out how to print chart. Nothing there. Searched
  on chart print, print chart. paste chart. Then ran out of ideas.

  I don't want to print the whole spreadsheet. Just the chart.

  Thanks,

  TIm.
