Title:
evolution GUI no longer allows for non-default ports for email
Status in The Evolution Mail & Calendaring Tool:
Fix Released
Status in “evolution” package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Status in “evolution” source package in Oneiric:
Triaged
Bug description:
Since some ISPs block outbound port 25, some mail servers listen on
other ports. Evolution currently uses a combobox but only allows for
ports 25, 465 and 587 and users must dig down into gconf settings to
change this. The same is true for incoming mail (though this may be
less of a problem).
