Title:
Radio menu (ComboBox, OptionMenu) arrows point only downward, not
  upward

Status in GTK+ GUI Toolkit:
  Unknown
Status in “gtk+3.0” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Problem occurs with: light-themes, Ubuntu Ocelot
Does not occur with: light-themes 0.1.8.13, Ubuntu 11.04

Outside of a menu bar, some menus open completely downward, with all
items below the menu button. For example, the Back and Forward menus
in Epiphany. This is indicated by a downward arrow at the end of the
  menubutton.

Other menus -- in GTK, the ComboBox and OptionMenu widgets -- open
both upward and downward, with the current selected item over top of
the menu button. For example, the Icon/List/Compact menu in Nautilus,
or the font menu in Character Map. This is indicated by a pair of
  upward and downward arrows.

Unfortunately, in Oneiric, both types have only a downward arrow.
Apparently this is a bug in GTK3.
