[Bug 829746] Re: Firefox update breaks addons
Sorry, but there's nothing we can do about third party extensions which
people run, and extension compatibility was about 96% at the time of the
Firefox 6 release. What *would* be a security issue is not providing an
update, and leaving all Ubuntu users with an insecure browser just
because a few obscure extensions aren't compatible yet

Bug description:
Updates in Natty will automatically upgrade to new Firefox versions as
if they were minor point releases. This breaks addon compatibility,
which - in addition to being annoying - is a security issue in the
case of security enhancing addons like Perspectives.
