  Chat logs lost on crash, empathy not flushing logs

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: empathy

  I've had a few thermal shutdowns recently and in all the cases empathy lost all the new conversations since last started (weeks this last time).
  Is there an easy way to simulate this kind of crash just on empathy, besides pulling the plug to confirm this bug?
